auth2db software package provides Powerful and eye-candy IDS logger, log viewer and alert generator, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install auth2db
auth2db is installed in your system.
Make ensure the auth2db package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep auth2db *
You will get with auth2db package name, version, architecture and description in a table
